Membership |

Membership is open to anyone living in the areas covered by either Bracknell Forest Borough Council or Wokingham Borough Councils, who is disabled (whatever age) and elderly people over the age of 70. Self certification is all that is needed, there is normally no independent evidence required. Membership costs £1.00 for life,
plus a yearly subscription, currently £5.00 (2008), for our basic services. If
you would like to receive the monthly programme and the newsletter the
combined subscription is currently £20.00 (2008) total per year plus the
initial membership fee. If you only require Dial a Ride you
can just pay the £1.00 plus yearly subscription. Please make any cheques
payable to KEEP MOBILE. As we are now so busy, on Day
Excursions you can only order one ticket per trip required, unless the 2nd
one is for a husband, wife, or carer. They will also have to pay the full
amount for outings. Please note that we are an
independent charitable organisation (not run by local
councils - although we do receive some grant aid from the councils). We are
run by volunteers and funded from grants and donations. Our charitable status
prevents us from making profit, or from working on behalf of any profit

(option 2) - This number
is usually manned between 9 am and 1 pm, Monday to Friday and is only
for Dial a Ride and shopping trip bookings. If you get an answerphone you can
leave your transport request giving name, destination, departure time,
appointment time (if any) and return time. Please phone the following day for
confirmation of trip. Bookings require at least 2 working days notice. General enquiry Line: 0845

all enquiries and other calls. Our office hours are 8.30 am to 5 pm, Monday
to Friday. Occasionally the office may be unmanned if a volunteer has been
called out to drive or escort (our top priority) Please leave a short message
on the answerphone and someone will call you back. May we remind you that KEEP
MOBILE belongs to its members, therefore if there is anything
you would like us to do tell us and if it is possible we will provide
