Driver Training

	Keep Mobile train their own drivers in house using experienced MiDAS driver trainer/assessors. Training of these trainers is undertaken by the Community Transport Association. The MiDAS training programme consists of theoretical and practical work.  The theory covers the different driving skills needed to drive a minibus, the  legal requirements and responsibilities of drivers,  and the special needs of passengers with disabilities. The practical training includes driving skills, securing passengers with disabilities, vehicle safety and fire and rescue procedures. In addition to the basic training necessary to obtain a MiDAS certificate, Keep Mobile provides regular refresher training for drivers and other staff covering topics necessary to maintain their high standard of service to their community.
