LIKE DRIVING? - LIKE PEOPLE? Need a change or just looking for something different? Then this may be the opportunity you've been looking for.We need part-time paid and voluntary non-psv* MINI-BUS DRIVERS to drive our fully accessible 16 seat minibuses taking elderly and disabled people from the Bracknell and Wokingham area wherever they need to go using our dial-a-ride, shopping and excursion services. * Please Note - you must have the "D" or "D1" group on your license in order to drive mini-buses of more than 12 seats (ours are 16 seats) We will provide full training to the national MiDAS standard. Many of our members have a need for someone to accompany them on our day excursions and shopping trips. You may be needed to push a wheelchair or to act as guide to someone with a visual impairment. In return, you get a day out, door to door transport and any admission fees paid. You also have the satisfaction of helping someone else take a day out which, without your help, they may not have been able to enjoy. |
